If you are a school administrator or educator here is some very important information that can be used to significantly improve the academic achievement and health and well being of students and teachers in your school.The intervention, is low cost, non-invasive, and simple to do. We are talking about reducing Dirty Electricity  or electromagnetic interference, from the electrical wiring in the school by using plug in capacitor filters. There are a number of companies making various versions of these filters as well as induction filters which must be installed  by an electrician. I will point out the studies that were done with the Stetzer plug in filters as those are the only ones to my knowledge that have been field tested and had results published in scientific journals. I do not have a conflict of interest or financial bias in favor of the Stetzer electric filters. I also do not intend for anyone to focus on the filters and ignore the harms from wireless radiation. There are several important published studies on the beneficial effects of mitigating dirty electricity in schools.  Dr Samuel Milham has reported that by simply installing 5 inexpensive Stetzer capacitor filters in one classroom, ADHD was eliminated in that classroom. The five filters were able to decrease the measured levels from over 5000 GS units to below 50 GS units. In the letter, Dr. Milham recommends testing and mitigating dirty electricity in homes and schools of children with ADHD before resorting to medicating them. When you delve into his published studies which you can access for free on his website, you will see that the neurotransmitters  such as Beta Phenylethylamine and Dopamine are affected by dirty electricity. Abnormally low levels of these two neurotransmitters are linked to ADHD. Milham cites a study from Austria that linked the lowering of these neurotransmitters to microwave radiation from Cell Towers. However in a clever observation and experiment, he demonstrated  that the more pertinent cause, is the inverters that supply power to the cell base stations. The inverters, which are required to switch the AC current to DC, in order to power the cell transmitters, create large amounts of dirty electricity.     

Dr. Milham also describes this observation in his book, "Dirty Electricity" and relates that despite a classroom being heavily blasted by microwave radiation from a nearby cell tower only a few feet away, simply filtering the dirty electricity from the electrical wiring was enough to remedy the hyperactive behavior. In fact the teacher reported that she could change the behavior of the students within 30 to 40 minutes by either removing or plugging in the capacitor filters. The implication is that even in a school with a great deal of wireless radiation such as from WIFI or the now ubiquitous "smart" phones, reducing the electromagnetic interference  from the high frequencies on the electrical wiring through the use of capacitor plug in filters, is likely to be effective in improving concentration, well being, and behavior.

Dr Magda Havas conducted several studies on schools and Stetzer Capacitor filters. She found great improvement in teacher and student well being due to the removal of dirty electricity, including reduction in ADHD medication use and Asthma inhaler use.
